Privacy policy

Blitzter is built to collect as little as possible: no sign-up, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. This policy explains what the Blitzter app and this website process, why, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible

Fehr GmbH, Blumenthal 6, 59457 Werl, Germany
Represented by the managing director Dominik Fehr

What the app processes

The app has no advertising or analytics SDKs and does not access your contacts, location or microphone.

This website

This website uses no analytics. It only sets a cookie when you pick a language at the bottom of the page: lang stores that language for one year so we show you the same one next time. Otherwise the start page picks the language from your browser's language setting and, as a fallback, the country of your connection; neither is stored. Like any web server, our hosting provider processes your IP address and request details to deliver the pages and protect them against abuse.

Hosting

Our server and this website run on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc. and its affiliates), which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Game summaries and accounts are stored in a database located in the European Union. Requests may be processed by Cloudflare's network outside the EU; Cloudflare relies on the EU standard contractual clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Technical request logs are kept for at most a few days.

Legal basis

Deleting your data

Blitzter has no sign-up and no user accounts. The only data about you on our server are game summaries and daily challenge results, and they are deleted automatically after 30 days; only daily totals without names are kept, because they no longer relate to anyone. To have your game summaries deleted sooner, email info@blitzter.com with your player name and roughly when you played; we delete them within a few days. If you redeemed a pack code or played the daily challenge, add your account ID (at the bottom of Settings) and we delete that account and its results too. Your name and settings on your phone are deleted when you uninstall the app (in the browser: when you clear its site data).

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restrict or object to its processing, and ask for a copy (data portability). Because we don't know who you are, tell us your player name and roughly when you played, or your account ID (at the bottom of Settings). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the one where you live or the one responsible for us: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen.

Children

Blitzter is a party game for families and friends. We don't knowingly collect more than a nickname and scores from anyone, and nicknames are only shown inside the game and, for players of the daily challenge, on its leaderboard. Parents can ask us to delete a child's data at any time.

Changes

When the app or our processing changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
